Welcome to HashtagVote.com (“HashtagVote”, “we”, “our”, “us”). HashtagVote is a skill-based engagement platform where users create opinion polls, participate in discussions, and may earn rewards based on creativity, reach, engagement quality, and compliance with platform rules.

By accessing or using HashtagVote, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform.

1. Platform Nature & Legal Positioning

HashtagVote is not a gambling, betting, lottery, or chance-based platform. Rewards are not guaranteed and are determined by skill-based factors including but not limited to:

  • Quality and clarity of poll content
  • Topic relevance and originality
  • User engagement and participation
  • Audience reach and sharing effort
  • Compliance with platform policies

Participation alone does not entitle any user to rewards.

2. Eligibility

  • Users must be at least 13 years of age
  • Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent
  • Only one account per individual is permitted
  • Identity verification via mobile OTP is mandatory

3. User Accounts & Security

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate account information
  • Protecting OTP and login credentials
  • Preventing unauthorized account access
  • Immediately reporting suspicious activity

4. Content Ownership & License

Users retain ownership of content they create. By submitting content, users grant HashtagVote a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, analyze, distribute, and promote such content for platform operations and improvements.

5. Prohibited Content & Conduct

Strictly prohibited:

  • Sexual, adult, or exploitative material
  • Hate speech, harassment, or abuse
  • Illegal activities or misinformation
  • Election interference or unlawful political content
  • Defamation or impersonation

6. Voting Integrity & Fair Use

Manipulation of votes through bots, scripts, VPN abuse, fake accounts, or coordinated fraud is strictly prohibited.

HashtagVote reserves the right to detect, investigate, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts engaging in fraudulent behavior.

7. Rewards & Redemption

Rewards are performance-based, discretionary, and subject to verification.

  • No guaranteed earnings
  • Minimum redemption thresholds apply
  • KYC verification is mandatory
  • Platform may modify reward structures at any time

Users are solely responsible for any applicable taxes under Indian law.

8. Suspension & Termination

HashtagVote may suspend or terminate accounts for violations without prior notice. Rewards associated with fraudulent activity may be forfeited.

9. Refund Policy

Fees for premium services are refundable only if services are not delivered as promised. Withdrawn rewards and completed campaigns are non-refundable.

10. Disclaimers

The platform is provided “as is”. HashtagVote does not guarantee outcomes, earnings, or uninterrupted access.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Indian law, including:

  • Information Technology Act, 2000
  • Indian Contract Act, 1872

Jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with courts in Bengaluru, India.
