  • Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage
  • Manipulating votes through fake traffic or coordinated abuse
  • Using VPNs, proxies, or IP masking to bypass restrictions
  • Buying, selling, or exchanging votes or accounts
  • Misrepresenting identity or impersonation
  • Posting misleading, illegal, or harmful content

4. Reward Abuse & Forfeiture

Rewards on HashtagVote are performance-based and discretionary.

If a user is found to be abusing the platform:

  • Rewards may be withheld, reduced, or forfeited
  • Withdrawals may be paused or reversed
  • Associated polls or votes may be invalidated
  • Accounts may be suspended or permanently banned

5. Monitoring & Detection

HashtagVote uses a combination of automated systems and manual review to detect:

  • Unusual voting patterns
  • Suspicious traffic sources
  • Behavioral anomalies
  • Policy violations

Detection methods may evolve over time to strengthen platform security.

6. Enforcement Actions

HashtagVote reserves the right to take enforcement action without prior notice, including:

  • Permanent account termination
  • Reward forfeiture
  • Blocking access to future participation
